Van Gogh Museum: Small Group Guided Tour

Very informative,albeit overcrowded. Limit number of visitors in order to fully enjoy tge art.

The museum is very interesting. My biggest thanks to our wonderful guide, Aylee. She's a lovely person, incredibly knowledgeable, speaks perfect English, and has a wonderful personality. She's the best guide I've ever had at a museum. This review comes from five Polish women from the same family. Five stars from each of us.

We had an amazing time at the Van Gogh Museum thanks to Eyal! He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. He brought Van Gogh’s story to life in such a personal and inspiring way.

Excellent tour with Tristan. Very knowledgeable and informative. Definitely a better experience than an audio tour or seeing the museum on your own. Highly recommend especially if wanting to see the museum on short notice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour with Sophia. She was so informative not only with pieces in the museum, but also Vincent’s background giving us a better understanding of how his personal life impacted his art. Would definitely recommend 10/10!

Sofia had prepared a very interesting tour with references to literature, religious elements and other artists. In a small group you can ask questions and really make the tour yours! Warmly recommend for anyone who wants a visit with a more personal touch!

Tristan was a wonderful guide. He obviously loved the art and had spent time researching the back stories. Made the story of Van Gogh understandable.

We had a small group of about 5. Our guide, Tristan, did a great job telling us the stories that led to the art and how they fit in the timeline. The context added richness to our experience. Completely worthwhile and Tristan was wonderful.

It was a lovely experience! The museum was beautifully organised. Our guide Eyal was excellent, very pleasant and polite, with an excellent amount of knowledge, very eager and inspiring. He did an excellent work managing the time and the crowded spaces of the museum, as well as our group, answering every question, and being dedicated to detail, so the tour was very easygoing, interesting and truly delightful. The story and art of Van Gogh is familiar but really comes to life in the curation at this museum. It is absolutely incredible in the collection of not just Van Gogh but also his contemporaries. It was a genuine pleasure to be guided through the museum by someone as knowledgeable and interested as Max.
